Challenge — Our Customers' Favourite
The Asia Challenge range has always been a bestseller, and this delivery is our biggest Challenger restock yet. Built on strong, dense ash or maple shafts with ebony butts and classic rosewood lower splices, Challenger cues step things up with titanium ferrules as standard — known for producing less deflection and sharper cue ball control.
You'll find one-piece, 3/4 jointed, 3/4 high-jointed, and even two-piece variants in this batch, with tip sizes from 8.5mm to 10mm covering both snooker and pool. Prices sit around £250–£350.
Support — Stepping Up in Materials
Moving into the mid-to-upper tier, the Support range switches to a maple shaft — denser and stiffer than ash, giving a noticeably different feel through the stroke. Paired with an ebony butt, decorative rosewood splices with thin white veneer accents, and a brass ferrule, these are cues built for players who've outgrown entry-level kit but aren't quite ready for four figures.
Expect prices around £350–£450, available across snooker and pool specs.
Ultimate — Serious Materials, Serious Craftsmanship
This is where Asia Cues really shows what their workshop can do. The Ultimate range uses only specially selected A-graded shafts — strong, dense timber with straight chevron grain, no knots, and genuinely excellent playability — combined with ebony butts and striking exotic wood and burl veneer splices. Titanium ferrules come as standard.
Available in one-piece and 3/4 jointed formats across snooker and pool, Ultimate cues in this delivery run roughly £450–£600.
Signature — Full Shaft, Full Feel
New to our shelves in real numbers, the Signature range is built entirely from Full Shaft (FS) construction rather than a spliced shaft — meaning no glued joints running down the playing section. That gives a more consistent feel and feedback with every shot, extra strength and durability, and a lower balancing point that many players prefer. This delivery's Signature cue features a Siam rosewood front splice with maple veneer detailing over an ebony butt — a genuinely striking piece.
Signature cues sit around £600, reflecting the extra work that goes into full-shaft construction.
Connoisseur — The Very Best Asia Cues Make
At the top of the range sits Connoisseur — Asia Cues' flagship grade, using only their highest A+++ graded shafts along with the finest ebony and exotic woods available. These cues are built to play as good as they look, and they look exceptional: rich purple heart and burl wood splices, immaculate one-piece construction, and titanium ferrules throughout.
We've only brought in a handful of these — around £590–£685 — because true Connoisseur-grade timber is genuinely limited. If you want one, we'd suggest not waiting around.
Break Cues — Built to Take the Hit
Rounding out the delivery, we've restocked our Asia Cues break cue line for 8-ball pool players. These pair an ash shaft and ebony butt with an exotic Thai wood front splice, one-piece construction, and a carbon break ferrule designed specifically to transfer maximum power into the break without punishing your other cues. Snooker balls vs pool balls: what is the difference
It sounds obvious, but the first decision is which game you are buying for, because the balls are not interchangeable.
A snooker set has 15 reds, six colours (yellow, green, brown, blue, pink and black) and a cue ball. Pool sets vary by code. English or blackball pool uses reds and yellows (or spots and stripes), a black and a cue ball. American pool uses the familiar solids and stripes numbered 1 to 15 plus the cue ball.
